This year's captivating theme, "All in for Hope, All out for Houston," transforms the evening into an elegant casino-inspired soirée that promises excitement and meaningful impact. As Texas's oldest HIV service organization, established as AIDS Foundation Houston in 1982 at the dawn of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, we have maintained an unwavering commitment to serving our community for over four decades. In today's challenging federal funding landscape, the support of generous sponsors and attendees becomes increasingly vital to sustaining our essential programs and services.
The evening's program features an exclusive VIP reception, live entertainment from the acclaimed Jack Freeman, sumptuous dinner service, spirited dancing, and an engaging silent auction showcasing one-of-a-kind items and experiences.
We will honor outstanding community leaders with the following awards:
- Shelby Hodge Vision Award:
- U.S Business Action to End HIV
- Ada Edwards Humanitarian Award:
- Greater Houston LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce
- State Senator Borris L. Miles
Under the distinguished leadership of co-chairs Dr. Joseph Jr. and Deanna Gathe, and Michael Broderick and husband Brian S. Hull, this year's Hope for Houston Ball represents more than just an evening of entertainment; it embodies our collective commitment to ensuring that no one faces HIV alone. We invite you to demonstrate your partnership with Allies in Hope, knowing that your investment directly supports life-changing programs that have served as beacons of hope throughout our community's most challenging moments. Together, we will continue building a future where every individual affected by HIV receives the comprehensive care, support, and dignity they deserve.
