  • Director of Grants Management - Finance

    The Director of Grants Management is primarily responsible for the grants management of Allies in Hope, to include but not limited to preparing monthly grant billings, monitoring budgets for each grant, and monitoring and processing billings from partner agencies and vendors by performing the following duties personally or though subordinates.

  • Community Health Worker

    The Community Health Worker reports to the Prevention Coordinator and is part of the healthcare team working to improve rates at which clients affected by HIV are retained in care and adherent to ARTs by conducting community-based and in-home outreach and short-term (between 3-6 months) care coordination and providing outreach, HIV testing, and counseling services to high-risk clients. This includes providing rapid HIV testing, social support, informal counseling, outreach activities, and intensive navigation support to help clients address needs that make it challenging to stay healthy, including transportation, housing, insurance benefits, mental health, substance use, stigma, food, and in navigating complex care and support systems. This position requires working some evenings and weekends in the community and requires good judgment and independent thinking skills.

  • Maintenance Assistant

    The Maintenance Assistant ensures basic sanitary standards for the property by managing basic janitorial tasks and safety by monitoring the property. This position is responsible for performing necessary repairs, preventive maintenance, and property landscaping to keep all buildings and equipment functioning at a high level of efficiency. The Maintenance Assistant works on projects at all locations of AFH and is required to travel between locations.

  • Community Health Worker - CMA

    The Community Health Worker-CMA (CHW-CMA) reports to the Nurse Practitioner. This position has a multiple pronged role to address the Prevention, Treat, and Diagnose pillars of the End HIV Plan. The CHW-CMA position works in partnership with the Prevention staff and Community Health Worker team to perform all clinic and community based testing and education activities. Under the medical supervision of the Medical Doctor and the guidance of the nurse practitioners, the CMA provides direct nursing care to patients by applying clinical nursing knowledge, skills and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and when appropriate, families, according to legal, organizational and professional standards.

  • Prevention Specialist - Bilingual

    This Prevention Specialist - Bilingual, reports to the Prevention Manager and is part of the Prevention team working to improve the number of persons that access HIV/STI testing, are educated on HIV/STI prevention methods, referred to supportive services and are linked to HIV/STI treatment and care as needed. This includes providing rapid and tradition HIV testing, social support, informal counseling, outreach activities and intensive navigation support to help clients address needs that make it challenging to stay health, including transportation, housing insurance benefits, mental health, substance use, stigma, food and in navigating complex care and support systems. This position requires working some unconventional hours as well as weekends and late nights in the community and requires good judgement and independent thinking skills.

  • Prevention Specialist

    The Prevention Specialist reports to the Prevention Manager and is part of the Prevention team working to improve the number of persons that access HIV/STI testing, are educated on HIV/STI prevention methods, referred to supportive services and are linked to HIV/STI treatment and care as needed. This includes providing rapid and tradition HIV testing, Linkage, social support, informal counseling, outreach activities and intensive navigation support to help clients address needs that make it challenging to stay health, including transportation, housing insurance benefits, mental health, substance use, stigma, food and in navigating complex care and support systems. This position requires working unconventional hours and also evenings and weekends in the community and requires good judgement and independent thinking skills.

  • Nurse Practitioner

    Under the direction of the Director of Health Services and medical oversight of the Medical Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides day-to-day oversight of the patient care activities provided by the Health Services Department. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) functions as a licensed registered nurse and provides all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and consultation, while maintaining and promoting the patient's health.

  • Development Officer - Individual and Corporate Giving

    The Development Officer – Individual & Corporate Giving is a frontline fundraising role responsible for generating philanthropic revenue for Allies in Hope through individual donor engagement, corporate partnerships, and community relationship development.
